My dry skin fam, we know the struggle is real. That is the most elegant way in which I can express my distaste for my dry, flaky, tight, irritated, hyper sensitive skin at this point. The winter does a number to my skin & I know there are many who can relate. With all the trial & error, I am going to share all the skincare tips that will help you protect, hydrate and nourish your skin(thank me later!)
#1 Avoid drying cleansers
During the winter it’s essential that you use a cleanser that DOES NOT DRY YOUR SKIN! As a matter of fact you should never use a drying cleanser. Cleansers that strip your skin of it’s natural oils will cause instant dryness, damage to the moisture barrier and a tight uncomfortable feeling. When shopping for a cleanser look for a cleanser without drying properties such as sulphates(SLS/SLES), parabens and alcohol.
